Jack and the Beanstalk Pantomime
Fee-Fi-Fo-Fun! Jack and the Beanstalk is coming to Chesterfield!
This year’s Chesterfield Theatres pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, is set to be a GIANT adventure – starring BBC One’s Gladiator Giant!
Follow Jack as he trades his cow for a handful of magic beans, climbs up to Cloud Land, faces the fearsome giant, and tries to save the village (and win the Princess’s heart along the way!).
Taking on the mighty role of The Giant is Jamie Christian – known to millions as the duelling Giant from the smash hit BBC Saturday night show. And our line-up of panto contenders are ready to take on the challenge of good over evil!
Joining Jamie on stage will be:

Audio described (AD)

Audio described performances give customers the opportunity to wear a headset so they can hear a narrator describe what is happening on stage.
Touch Tour
Sun 21 Dec 4pm
A guided touch tour around the set to put the performance in context to enhance the experience for blind and partially sighted customers. Customers who have booked tickets to see an audio described performance of Cinderella can book a ticket for our touch tour. Tickets are limited and pre-booking is available as an add-on when purchasing your audio-described performance tickets.
Relaxed

A relaxed performance and is adapted for those with learning disabilities and other sensory and communication needs. Relaxed performances are also a great way to introduce little ones to panto. We make small adjustments to the technical aspects of the show so it is a gentler experience. The volume is slightly lower and some special effects such as strobe lighting are removed. The production may still contain haze, some use of low fog and some lighting effects. To provide a more relaxed and supportive atmosphere, the house lights remain partially lit and the doors to the auditorium remain open. Safe spaces are made available in other areas of the venue for those who may want to take a break from the performance.

Souvenir programme £3.50 instead of £4 when purchasing at the same time as buying your tickets.
Kid's refreshment box (Drink, crisps & sweets/chocolate) £4.20.
You will receive a ticket that can be used to redeem your items when you arrive for the performance.

Groups 20+ save £1 per ticket on Standard and Premium performances (auditorium rows A-R and circle rows A-L).

To submit a 'shout out' request, please scan the QR code in the Winding Wheel Theatre foyer before the performance.
We get a large number of shout out requests so we can't guarantee all will be read. There are no shout outs at school performances.
